Walking two dogs on one lead doesn't have to mean tangles, chaos, or a workout you didn't plan for. The Ruffwear Double Track Coupler turns a single lead into a smooth, tangle-minimising two-dog setup - keeping both dogs close, connected, and coordinated.

Why the Double Track Coupler?

The Double Track uses Wavelength stretch webbing - an engineered bungee-style webbing - to absorb the inevitable shock of two dogs moving at slightly different speeds or in slightly different directions.

When one pulls, the stretch absorbs the difference rather than transferring the full force to the other dog or to your hand. The swivelling lockable Crux Clip at each end minimises lead twisting, and the single connector at the top attaches to any standard lead. The webbing has been updated with improved elastic longevity for extended use.

What Makes It Work

Built from engineered polypropylene webbing with an elastic core for shock absorption and smooth transitions. A single-piece anodised aluminium V-ring connects to your lead at the top, and two anodised 6061-T6 aluminium lockable Crux Clips attach to each dog's collar or harness ring. The swivel action on each clip reduces twisting and tangling during walks. Available in Basalt Gray. Made in Vietnam.

Suitable For

For use with two dogs on a single lead - attach your preferred lead to the top V-ring, and clip each end to a separate dog's collar or harness. Best for two dogs of similar size and energy level. Works with any standard 6 ft lead including the Front Range, Switchbak, and Flagline Leashes.

How to Use

Attach your lead to the top aluminium V-ring. Clip each Crux Clip to a separate dog's collar or harness ring and lock. Walk both dogs from the single lead. The Wavelength stretch webbing will absorb differential movement between the two dogs. Hand wash with mild detergent, air dry.
