Why the Front Range Short Leash?

At its core, this is a lead for control and proximity. The lightly-padded handle gives you a comfortable, confident grip, and Ruffwear's lockable Crux Clip provides the same secure connection as the full-length Front Range Leash. When you go off-lead, the webbing tri-folds neatly into an elastic keeper strap for compact stowing - no dangling lead, no tangle. The webbing now includes recycled content for a reduced environmental footprint.

What Makes It Work

Built from polyester webbing with 16% recycled content and fitted with an anodised 6061-T6 aluminium lockable Crux Clip. The padded handle uses PE foam with a bluesign approved mesh sleeve for comfort. The elastic keeper strap allows the lead to fold into three compact sections when not in use. Made in Vietnam. Available in 2 colours.

Suitable For

Best used as a secondary lead for busy environments, car-to-trail transitions, or close-contact training. Pairs well with any standard collar or harness. Not a substitute for a full-length walking lead for open, everyday use.

How to Use

Clip the Crux Clip to your dog's collar or harness ring and lock the clip. Hold the padded handle. When not in use, tri-fold the webbing and tuck into the elastic keeper strap for compact carry. Hand wash with mild detergent, air dry.
