The Hi & Light Harness is designed for minimum weight, maximum adjustability. Four points of adjustment let you dial in a sleek, comfortable fit across a wide range of body shapes - including very small dogs, with sizes available down to XXXS.

Two leash attachment points keep you connected: an aluminium V-ring on the back for everyday use, and an ultralight, ultrastrong webbing loop on the chest for training or redirecting pullers. Small details add up: a debris-resistant liner sheds dirt and fur for easy maintenance, a small ID tag pocket keeps tags quiet and accessible, and reflective trim boosts visibility in low light.

What Makes It Work

Shell is 150D polyester ripstop with bluesign approved DWR and PU coating - lightweight, weather-resistant, and durable on trail. Lining is 75D polyester with heat emboss - smooth, debris-resistant, and comfortable against the skin. Buckles are bluesign approved ITW Nexus Mach 1 side-release.

The front leash connection point is 87.5% UHMWPE and 12.5% nylon - the same ultralight, ultrastrong material used in the Flagline Harness. The back leash connection is an anodised 6061-T6 aluminium V-ring. Made in Vietnam. Available in 4 colours × 6 sizes.

Suitable For

Six sizes (XXXS through L/XL) make this one of the most inclusive harnesses in the Ruffwear range - from very small breeds and puppies up to large dogs. Ideal for fast-paced pursuits including trail running and cycling, as well as everyday use for handlers who prefer a minimal, lightweight design. This product is non-returnable due to hygiene reasons.

How to Use

Loosen all straps before fitting. Slip the harness over your dog's head, position the chest panel, and fasten all buckles. Adjust the four points of adjustment until the harness sits flush and secure with two fingers fitting beneath each strap. Attach your leash to the back V-ring for everyday use or the front webbing loop for training. Spot clean or hand wash with mild detergent, air dry.
